We are a Seattle area wedding venue perfect for couples looking for a unique, historic, and picturesque location for their wedding ceremony and reception. Just one hour from Seattle, the River House is a charming blend of natural Cascade mountain beauty and the rustic history of Washington's early years. At the Riverhouse, we will strive to make your wedding day one of the most memorable days of your life.  - DETAILED RIVER HOUSE FACILITY INFO -

 

CAPACITY INDOOR...

  • The indoor facility can accommodate approximately 80 guests max seated comfortably.

 

 

CAPACITY OUTDOOR...

  • The outdoor area can accommodate up to 200 guests comfortably.

 

 

FACILITY & AMENITIES...

  • The facility is rented for the 12 hour day from 11am–11pm . Rental times include setup, cleanup and rental deliveries.

 

  • Indoors we have a beautiful Main Tavern Room with the original wood bar, vintage lights, and lodge-style table and chairs. We can accommodate 45 guests with our tables and bar seating. We also have two bathrooms tiled with stone slate.

 

  • With various rustic and vintage décor, our indoor facility adds that touch of historic beauty to your event. From old wooden wine barrels and antique logging saws, to stained glass mine lamps, and old historic printed town photos, this venue brings alive a very unique countryside character.

     

  • Our outdoor facility features a grassy yard that sits beside the translucent green moving water of the Skykomish River facing the stunning Mount Index. The yard is big enough for both a reception and ceremony. The yard has various plants, herbs, trees and flowers that are placed throughout the garden beds which bring life and color to the property. There are 10 wooden picnic tables with benches for your outdoor use as well! 

 

  • We have solar lights to illuminate the walkways. The spacious wrap-around deck is lit by beautiful white party lights along the railing to add a soft warm feel. There are also lights dangling elegantly over the yard to the river for a beautiful night reception of dancing and fun.

 

 

PARKING...

  • Parking is available onsite and in the surrounding areas, but can be limited. 

 

 

COLD STORAGE... 

  • If you are looking to keep your cake stored away or have your flowers cooled before the ceremony, we also have a walk-in refrigerator which may be available to help with these types of needs.

 

 

SET UP/TAKE DOWN...

  • Renters are responsible for set-up, take-down and clean-up of the event. Facility must be left in the same condition in which it was rented. Clean-up can be provided by the River House for an additional service fee (see below).

 

 

ADDITIONAL FEES... 

  • For all events, Short Term Event Insurance ($100-$150) is required. For all events serving alcohol an Alcohol Banquet Permit ($10) is required as well. Both can be quickly obtained on the internet. More information on obtaining the event insurance and alcohol banquet permit is included in our agreement. ​

  • Adjacent to the wrap around deck and Main Tavern Room  

 

 

 3. RUSTIC COVERED WOODEN YARD SHELTER - $300

  • ​Great for serving food and drinks outdoors in the yard​

 

 

 4. STUNNING HANDMADE WOODEN TRELLIS - $500

  • Stunning large wooden trellis along the banks of the Skykomish River

 

 

5. CAFE ESPRESSO SERVICE - ASK FOR A QUOTE TODAY! 

  • Full service café with a barista

  • Open tab or flat rate fee payment options
